Amber Ladner Sworn in as Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers President
Amber L. Ladner was sworn in as the new President of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (ACDLA). Ladner was sworn in May 3rd, 2013 during the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association Annual Meeting and Summer Seminar in Panama City, Florida.
Ladner has spent her entire career as an Alabama criminal defense attorney, and is a life member of ACDLA. She has previously served as Vice-President and Representative from District II, which encompasses the Birmingham, Alabama area. Ladner has also served in leadership positions with her local criminal defense lawyers association, the Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
The Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association seeks to
- protect the individual rights guaranteed by the Alabama and Federal Constitutions in criminal cases through educational programs and the encouragement of cooperation between attorneys engaged in the practice of criminal defense throughout Alabama.
