Amber L. Ladner is an experienced Alabama criminal defense attorney with offices in Birmingham and Mobile Alabama, serving the entire state. Ladner is a native of Birmingham Alabama. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar after receiving her law degree in 2003 from Birmingham School of Law. After graduation, Ms. Ladner established her criminal defense practice as an Alabama attorney in Birmingham; concentrating on Alabama criminal defense and Alabama family law. Ms. Ladner is a seasoned Alabama criminal defense attorney who has successfully tried numerous criminal jury trials in both State and Federal Courts in Alabama.
Ms. Ladner also has extensive experience handling Alabama divorce and family law matters, including alimony, child custody, divorce and divorce modification. As an Alabama attorney, she has guided many grateful clients through difficult and oftentimes contentious divorce cases.
Ms. Ladner has been named a RISING STAR among Alabama attorneys by SUPERLAWYER’S of Alabama in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. She most recently appeared in B-Metro’s Power of Women 2016. In addition, Ms. Ladner’s work in the courtroom has earned her numerous awards and honors, including: Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association Merit Award (2010), Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association President’s Award (2010), Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association President’s Award (2008).
Ms. Ladner is a past president of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association (serving a term 2013-2014) and a past president of the Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Alabama State Bar, The Birmingham Bar Association, The Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Greater Birmingham Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
